Meet our podcast hosts
Sally Brown - Therapy Today podcast
Sally has been the Editor of Therapy Today since 2020. She qualified as a therapist in 2013 and worked as a counsellor in a counselling charity, where she was also a Trustee and later Chair, then set up in private practice. She continues to see a small number of clients online. Before training as a therapist, she worked as a journalist and editor for national publishing companies including Hearst and News UK. Her professional interests include the sustainability of private practice as a career and the therapeutic use of self. She is currently researching a PhD in an aspect of therapist effects at Metanoia/Middlesex.
Grace Mansah-Owusu, PhD - Insights podcast
Grace is a BACP registered counsellor, organisational psychologist, trainer and career coach. She has four years of counselling experience and over 15 years experience working in people and organisational development, diversity and inclusion, research and facilitation roles in academia, transport, logistics and consultancies. Grace is a seasoned trainer, lecturer and presenter. She hosts two podcasts of her own, The Black Business Psychology Podcast and The Great Minds for Business Podcast, highlighting and showcasing the careers of racially minoritised professionals in the fields of psychology, medicine, healthcare, art, research, film and non-profit. Grace has been on HR Magazine’s HR Most Influential list in 2021, 2022 and 2023. She's very excited about hosting the BACP Insights podcast and especially interested in speaking to experts and fellow counsellors.
